Hey! My name is Louiza, but you can call me Weeze.
Between you and me, bio’s give me anxiety. I am so many things at any given time and never feel as though any particular label or word fits me quite right. That’s probably why the idea of referring to myself as a multi-hyphenate feels so comfortable. it gives me the wiggle room to be all that I am and any one piece of me, at any given moment.
Aaaaaannndd after saying all of that, I still know how this works and that some of y’all may be totally new to me. So for the TLDR of my essence (ugh,🥴 I cringe), I am an equity and liberation educator, strategist and speaker/podcaster featured in the NYT, Forbes, Fox news, Buzzfeed and many more. With a healing centered and humanity first ethos, I am known for my kind and compassionate yet direct approach.
In my work, the focus will always be in collective liberation. We liberate others by way of our own liberation and thus, personal liberation is a huge part of what I talk about!
Outside of work I wear a whole bunch of labels too: Cal Alumni, Bay Area native, boxing enthusiast, coffee aficionado, dog mama, beach baby, music lover and so much more.
I started this substack because I wanted a space where I could give y’all all that I offer to the world in a way that felt fully authentic and true to me. No algorithms, no trends to have to follow or special content to have to create. Just thoughts, critique, commentary, advice, coaching, a Lola update or two etc etc, however I think works best, video, writing, audio, pictures and the like. I wanted a space that felt like it was totally mine, where I can do what I’m actually good at, without anything else getting in the way!
